Barnabás Králik has been interested about enhancing the expressiveness of programming languages since the age of 7, when he wanted to write a game but got stuck at having the computer calculate the sum of two 16-bit integers.Some years later, he did a BSc and MSc in Computer Science at the Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest with theses revolving around the topic of extensible programming languages and their compilers.He is now a third-year doctoral student there with the broad research topic of “Domain Specific Languages” as a member of the CPS Programming Workgroup. Currently, he is visiting the Advanced Systems Technology Lab of STMicroelectronics, where he is working on the standardization of and code generation for IoT nodes.
